Perhaps the hottest wedding I have ever shot in the UK? Oh yes, all of the heat and some Botley Hill Barn Wedding Photography – Alice + Jeremy’s summer wedding absolutely ripping up the Surrey Hills and a day that was a total party from start to finish. There is something about this sublime venue that brings in couples who want a beautiful venue that turns into parry central for the evening. I love it here and I’m thrilled to be a recommended photographer at yet another Surrey wedding venue. Kate and her team run it brilliantly, and make every couple feel very special.

Today was smack in the middle of the summer heatwave. Did it matter? Nope. Not when you have a couple like this, and family and friends there to live every single minute of the day. It was immense. They came, they saw, they partied. Couples often ask me what makes a great wedding and I always answer the same. It’s not the venue or the food or the weather or the money spent. It’s always, always, always the people there and the attitude they bring with them. Get that mix right and lead from the front and you will have the best day you can possibly imagine. Let those of us you’ve booked worry about the timings and the flow of the day, and just lean into your own vision. Alice and Jeremy did just that, and the say you see here is the result. Just look at those faces, that dance floor.
