Wedding photography at Gate Street
Bloody Hell. I think I'm still wrapping my head around how amazing this day was. Time for some wedding photography at Gate Street - Nic + Ash's transatlantic love affair, the outcome of a very chance meeting in London almost 9 years ago, landing in the Surrey countryside with a large slice of glorious weather to go with it.
From the moment Nic got in touch we hit if off, and the day I met them both in Bushy Park for a pre-wedding shoot last Autumn showed me that I was going to have a full on bromance with Ash. They are a spectacular couple, and a total joy to photograph. I adore shooting at Gate Street anyway, and on days like these even more so. America meets England once again and every single time this happens special things arise. People like this, days like these. Perfection. Sign me up.
I'm only sad it's over. But then when I got this message from them it seems like I'm not the only one:
"These photos are killing us. Can't believe it was all as perfect as it was, and couldn't have asked for a better person to capture it all.
We're going to divorce in a couple months just to do it over...will let you know the date 😉
So much love, Ash and Nic x"
When a couple have Bon Iver as their first dance you know they're on your wavelength. In the words of that song: "But I could see for miles, miles, miles"
On days like these I really can. As I said at the start, bloody hell....
