Wedding photography at Farnham Castle – Lucy + Scott

September is here and so is some wedding photography at Farnham Castle - Lucy + Scott starting out the month with a massive bang, and this was my first of a triple header that weekend, one that started here, took me down to Dorset, and then back up to Salisbury. 2021 was mental, but in the good way. Mainly because of couples like Lucy + Scott.

This was something of a rarity in 2021 - a wedding that happened on the day it was originally planned, with everything happening just like in 'the old days'. Hard to believe I know, but we're about 6 weeks past the Great Unlocking of Summer 2021, and damn it felt good to be shooting like this again. When we'd originally chatted over Zoom I knew we'd have a blast, and the day did not let me down there.

A massive thanks should go to the team at Farnham Castle, always a joy to work with, and to my fellow suppliers - all listed at the foot of this blog with links to their individual brilliance (and seriously Lucy, *that* dress was off the scale). Also to Lucy's brilliant bridesmaids and Scott's equally excellent groomsmen. All made me feel welcome from the off and there was some superb banter flying around. You couldn't wish to meet a nicer group of people. Thank you all.

Weddings can be many things. Emotional, hectic, chaotic, playful, serious, thrilling, light-chasing, weather-dodging. Or they can be a day of perfection like this. A day when friends and families come together to celebrate two people who are so obviously widely loved. I will keep banging on about what a total privilege this job is, and people like Lucy + Scott just reinforce that. I loved them, and I loved this day.
