Check. Out. This. Weather. Oh London you spoiled this Trinity Buoy Wharf wedding photographer - Lisa + Matt would no doubt agree. The blues of skies, the clearest of days, the perfect couple to make the absolute most of it. ....
The day began with an easy drive up and I arrived early to catch some of the Rugby World Cup and miss the worst of the traffic. Matt wasn't far behind me and the bustle of the day began with the last bits of set-up. Guests flowed in, and Lisa arrived to the sounds of jaws hitting the warehouse floor. Those sounds turned to laughter and joy as the ceremony bathed us in the most perfect directional light. Tricky, but oh so good for us wedding photographers as it gives us options and things to play with. We like this, and more of this please, Weather Gods.
After a wonderfully intimate ceremony we piled outside to that sun and the sight of London just across the water. Drinks flowed, food was carried and the party didn't let up for the rest of the day. Brilliant, brilliant speeches and laughter bouncing off the walls of The Chainstore.
Lisa and Matt are, quite simply, a terrific couple. From the moment we first spoke I knew we clicked, and this day just proved it all. Chilled, elegant, funny, warm, widely loved and with a fantastic group of family and friends. They made the most of the weather and the venue, and totally trusted my suggestions for any photography. We had a ball together and I couldn't ask for better people than this. Lisa and Matt, you made your day beyond brilliant. Thank you so much.
