Flipping over to the summer (I’m not necessarily blogging these in order because I’m random like that) – Tithe Barn wedding photography coming to you from a couple who live in Australia and have roots in Canada and Greece but who chose this big old Hampshire barn for their electric wedding. I always knew this would be a cracker from the first time we skyped (begone time differences) and then met a few months ahead of the wedding when they actually came over with some coffee beans for me. How bloody lovely is that. Thoughtful much?
Turns out that the coffee was a metaphor for how special these two are. That level of thought and care extends to everyone they come into contact with. Family is everything to them, and friends equally so. It was apparent from the warmth that greeted them throughout the day. A day that began with some rain, and ended with the most intense dancefloor stuff I’ve seen in a long time. Alongside me for the day was the ace Ollie from Storybook Films. Always great to shoot with top videographers and Ollie is right up there.
We had a day that had it all. And a day that had everything these lovely people needed and wanted. A day when the drive home is a time for reflection on what an incredible job this is. I genuinely have to pinch myself sometimes.
Angela, Dave. Thank you so much for bringing me into your world. Big love across the globe.
