April you are spoiling us. This time it was the lovely Louise and Ed who had all the sun and all the goodness on their fabulous day at The Tithe Barn, a venue that I know well and love working at.
But we begin in Alton, and firstly with Ed and his groomsmen. A warm welcome and just in time to see Ed receive a gorgeous watch from Louise. Emotions were already running high and this just added to the sense of occasion and anticipation for what was to come. From their lovely home it was over to Louise’s parents’ house the other side of town where an equally warm welcome was waiting along with food and drink. I have to say a huge thank you to all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen for their help and laughter throughout the day, along with a special thanks to Louise’s Dad, Ray, for buying me a pint during the wedding breakfast!
From there it was over to the Tithe Barn and where a wonderfully emotional ceremony led on to an equally wonderful reception and evening. Kids running around on an Easter Egg hunt, adults watching on as the drinks flowed. Family right at the centre of the day, with Louise and Ed’s gorgeous daughter leading the charge.
Louise and Ed – yet another couple oozing that sense of ‘right’ when they’re together. A life already built with three of them, and one that today was cemented before their friends and family in the way it should be.
I’d been looking forward to this wedding and I was right to do so. Louise is one of the warmest people you could wish to meet and is clearly devoted to Ed and Isla. The fact that she looked a million dollars was just the icing on the cake. Ed beamed from the moment I arrived and his love for Louise and Isla shone hard. They are a simply terrific couple and family.
Thank you so much for having me there, it was a proper treat. This, then, is your story…..
