The Hackney wedding photography

Take. A. Bow. Isy & Ollie you absolutely and utterly smashed it. And how….

London, sunshine, some very funky urban locations (and I absolutely loved their reception venue, The Hackney) and just the nicest group of people that you could wish to meet. Lots of familiar faces from the previous two weddings and a hope that this group has more weddings to come that I may be lucky enough to photograph. Isy & Ollie brought a party, and some incredibly tender moments, to the people that mean the most to them. Days like this give us photographers everything, and they don’t feel like work. Instead they feel like being invited into the lives of some very, very special people. I am never not grateful for that privilege and trust.

One of the best parts of this job is being lucky enough to shoot weddings of the same friendship group. This is one of those and goes back to Zarni & Matt in 2022. I met Jacqui & Henry at that wedding (Henry was a groomsman), and shot their wedding in 2023. I met Isy & Ollie at that wedding (Isy was a bridesmaid) and that took us to today with Henry again as a groomsman and Jacqui returning the favour as a bridesmaid. I love symmetry.
