Last. Wedding. Of. 2015. And talk about bowing out on a high.
May I present the terrific Eva and Ollie, at the equally terrific Clock Barn, just 10 miles down the road from me.
No prep photography for Eva today, so we begin where we’d be for the entire day, deep in the Hampshire countryside. As I arrived Ollie was already there, helping the wonderful Lindsey of The White Horse Flower Company. As well as being a mighty fine florist of some reknown, she’s become a good friend of mine and it’s always lovely to see her face on the morning of a wedding.
A big thank you here to Cat and her team from Galloping Gourmet. I’ve worked with Cat a few times now. Great fun and very good at her job. Thank you again.
Thanks also to Richard, Ollie’s Best Man, for a top job on the day, and to Joey, Eva’s sister, for the same. Lovely to meet you both.
But mainly to Eva and Ollie, perhaps the very definition of chilled.
From the moment I met Eva I was taken with her. Beautiful. Never stopped smiling once. Elegant. Eva, you absolutely killed that dress.
Ollie, a man who put me in mind of the superb comedian Mark Watson. The driest sense of humour and just rolled with the day.
Out of the park both.
So, a season that began in Essex back in March drew to close last Saturday very close to home. Both weddings were cold outdoors but full of warmth inside.
An incredible year that ended with an incredible wedding and couple. Thank you both so much.
