Holy heck. How about this for some prime Syrencot wedding photography - more specifically the utter brilliance of this September day with Stacey and David. They really don't come much better than this.
So this was the third of a triple header weekend, the first weekend of September, coming hot on the heels of a crazy June/July/August as the country finally unlocked and the big party days came roaring back. Oh did they come roaring back. I'd driven up from the previous day down in Dorset and we were blessed with a beautiful, very warm day. The edge just coming off the high summer heat as we eased into what was to be a stunning autumn. The warmth of the day matched only by the warmth of the welcome from Stacey and her girls, and David and his chaps. Suitable amounts of banter were thrown around and I knew then I was in for a gem of a day.
Guests arrived, smiles as wide as the house. Seats were taken. Vows exchanged. Lives cemented. The promise of adventures to come made real before the people closest to them. Also, bonus wedding dog!
And then the party. The place was bouncing from the moment the singing waiters surprised everyone, not least Stacey. It didn't let up, and as I drove away in the dark, the sounds of the laughter, music and love echoed around my car.
Stacey and David - yet another couple who somehow found each other, who truly come alive when they're together. Clearly loved by many, and they fashioned a day that celebrated all of this.
I loved it all. They made all of this happen with the shadow of you-know-what looming. Somehow it meant more because of that. As a Syrencot wedding photographer you can't ask for more.
