April hits hard with some Sopley Mill wedding photography – Lisa + Alex’s fantastic Spring wedding in Dorset which went off with a total bang. What a day, what a couple and what a venue. It’s been a while since I was down at Sopley Mill. 2015 in fact, with Kerry and Craig (and a huge thank-you to Sarah who did the hair for that wedding for recommending me to her best friend Lisa for this one, this time a bridesmaid but also on hair duties once again!).
The day began at the Captain’s Club Hotel with Lisa, Sarah and Jen all busy with the prep. Alongside me for the day was Matt at Forever Captured, great to work with you! A short walk over to the stunning Christchurch Priory to await Lisa’s arrival, in a horse-down carriage, no less. That same carriage would take them to Sopley Mill which meant it was easy to get ahead of them for their arrival.
Blessed with great weather, we were all treated to an outdoor reception. Chilled, warm and the arrival of Doogle dog just added to the occasion. From that to some great food, some great speeches and a perfect sunset just after a great first dance.
2022 is on. In a big way. This was my 4th of the year, with 36 still to come. It’s going to be a mad, busy, hectic, wonderful few months. Spending days with people like this makes it a joy from start to finish. Thank you both so so much for being awesome to work with. Tell Doogle I said hi!
