Day two of two then. And after the intimate beauty of Day One, today brings us some Pitzhanger Manor wedding photography – Saima + Stewart’s second day took us across town to Ealing and the quite stunning Pitzhanger Manor.
After the second lockdown saw me down cameras for another 5 months it was so damn good to be back photographing weddings in London. Mercifully light traffic saw an easy journey up from Hampshire, and a warm welcome from Beth, Isabelle and the team at Pitzhanger, a house with an incredible history and a sublime venue for this second day.
Many of the same guests were present for today so it was lovely to see them all again, and the feeling of space that Pitzhanger Manor gave us was so welcome. The park behind the house itself, Walpole Park, offered some lovely open grounds for the couple photography afterwards, and with that we were back to the house for some drinks before the two days were wrapped up. Remember we’re still in the world of restrictions here, so numbers were limited and the post-ceremony options limited. Despite all of that I came away with the happiest and fullest of hearts. 2020 was start, STOP, start again and then ended with another big STOP sign. 2021 would carry that sign until May, and the days you see here. As we now know, despite many wobbles, it was more green lights from hereon in. 2022 is looking way, way more settled and normal.
Saima, Stewart. To have two days with you both was the best of times. Thank you so, so much.
