BOOM. This one had it all.
Lisa and Daniel. One hell of a couple. More about them later.
An amazing venue in Millbridge Court and one that I’m hugely proud to be a recommended supplier at. Run by the incredible Laura who just gets exactly what a wedding should be about. Alongside her today was Sarah, and they’re some team.
Pretty much a dream team of fellow suppliers to work alongside. The superb Kalm Kitchen with the fantastic Eloise running front of house. The brilliant Kate Avery Flowers. A gorgeous cake from Milk Street Kitchen. It doesn’t get much better than that. Thank you all.
So thanks given to those working with me, attention must turn to the day…….to Lisa’s sisters on bridesmaid duties, to Dan’s brother and Best Man, Stuart. To Dan’s ushers for helping out throughout the day. To a terrific bunch of guests. Great fun, warm and determined to just have a big party, like all the best weddings. A group of people there to celebrate a wedding first and foremost, but then to have the best time possible. Rooms full of laughter, jokes and general banter. This is what weddings should have. Always.
And in the middle of it all, two people made for each other. Utterly meant to be together.
Lisa and Daniel.
Lisa looking elegant and just totally chilled from start to finish. No dramas. Just nailing it all day long.
Daniel. Bear hugs several times from this man. Very, very funny.
I liked them both immediately and that just grew all day. It doesn’t feel like a job this, it feels like being invited into lives and given the honour of documenting what’s happening. That it’s such an important day is just a bonus.
So we had it all. Dry weather, an amazing set of colleagues. The perfect venue. The right mix of friends and family.
And at the centre of it all stood Lisa and Daniel. Surrounded by those most important to them and understanding what it all meant.
Thank you all, thank you both. It was immense.
