Well this was a bit special. Take a bow Bessie and Louise. Take a bow for showing us what love is. This was just so very special…..
It had all the ingredients of course. A terrific venue in the lovely Millbridge Court where I’m proud to be one of a small number of suppliers listed as partners. A team of colleagues right out of the top drawer in Cat and the team at Kalm Kitchen, Hazel at Eden Blooms and Ellie at Milk Street Kitchen. A massive thank you to all for being such a pleasure to work alongside once again. Until the next time!
We had the weather, oh yes. April has turned out to be rather good this year, and the sun shone hard for Bessie and Louise. Fitting really. I’m not going to lie, I have a huge soft spot for these girls. From the moment we met last year I knew I really wanted to shoot this wedding. Rarely have a I met a couple who are so well suited and who quite literally burst when they see each other. Getting ready at opposite ends of Millbridge meant I could shoot two lots of bridal prep, with two sets of bridesmaids helping out. Another huge thank you to all of those as well. Also to Bessie’s brother Sam for being a superb MC and making me laugh all day!
So two bridal entrances and two proud fathers. Two girls together pledging their hearts to one another, and committing to a life together. A proper wedding this, with proper, full love front and centre. I swear I don’t think they stopped smiling all day. See below for evidence of that, and then some…..
Bessie and Louise. You radiate love. You shine so hard together that it’s almost too much to take. You are wonderful people clearly loved by many. The brief time I spent with you showed me that, and that it’s so, so well deserved. From the first time we spoke to the hugs at the end of the day I loved every minute. I’m just sorry it’s over. Can we do it all again?
Thank you both, so so much. This is your story……it was an honour to be there with you. You bloody smashers.
