Next up in my short series of Micro wedding photography - Annaleise + Andrew in Oxford, just a few miles from their original venue of Lains Barn. A wedding that was planned in days, and confirmed just ahead of the shutters coming down on the then-allowed 30 guest limit.

A day that blessed us with the most perfect blue skies, a wonderful group of people and a couple who pulled it all together having not known what they could do. In essence, the story of 2020 for so many couples. Once again I was in awe of how that stress and uncertainty was pushed aside to produce the best possible day. Smiles for miles. An overwhelming sense of relief that, despite everything, they'd got it done. And how. This is how you do Micro wedding photography Oxford.

All being well, we'll be back together at Lains Barn for their big party day later this year. Give us the green light Boris. We have missed those days.

In the meantime we have these. Days that evolved from their original plans, and instead offer up something different, unique and no less special for all of that. There's an intimacy and sense of cosiness here, and it shows that really what you need to make the day special is those people who are closest to you. Get that right and the rest falls into place. Simple really. Couples like Annaleise and Andrew make them happen. We're just lucky enough to witness them.
