Hampstead wedding photography – Claire + JW

Clear Eyes. Full Hearts, Can’t Lose.

If you’ve ever watched Friday Night Lights (and if you haven’t then you should), you’ll recognise the phrase. Claire and JW did when they found my site and they knew we’d hit if off. And we really did.

Hampstead, and a warm Saturday in July. Hampstead, and JW’s family home. Hampstead, and a very, very special couple committing to a life together. Some days I pinch myself that this is an actual job that people pay me to do. Today was one of those days. I could talk about the peerless planning and execution by Krissy at Sweetpea & Blossom. Or the superb music from Ash at Prelude. These are people who excel at what they do and it was a pleasure working alongside them.

But mainly I could talk about Claire (aka KMiddy) and JW. A couple who booked me and said ‘do your thing’. A couple who simply ooze love and respect for one another. A pair of keen minds with warmth and elegance to match. They simply got it and got on with it. It was, as they say, a blast. The sort of day where you sit in the Uber car on the way back beaming so much that the driver asks where you’ve been and what you do. And then you tell them and they understand. All of this is down to the excellence of the couple I was there to photograph, and to the people around them. In a leafy part of London it all came together so very perfectly for them. Hampstead, you witnessed true love today.

Claire and JW. Smashed it all day long. Coach Taylor would be proud. The clearest of eyes and the fullest of hearts. You can’t lose.
