Sometimes you just know that a wedding will be beyond fantastic. This was one of those times. From the moment Millie mailed me, to our first phone call, to the pre-wedding shoot, to today. The bar was already set high this year. This nudged it up further……here then is some Guildford wedding photography at the wonderful Littlefield Manor.
You can tick a stack of boxes up front – amazing weather, a brilliant venue, top-drawer fellow suppliers, a bloody awesome group of bridesmaids and groomsmen. And, of course, a quite remarkable couple in Mille and Chris. More about them later.
Some thanks are due, to my colleagues on the day – to Heidi and Lyn at Blank Canvas for getting how relaxed weddings can be when done right, to Grace and the team at Kalm Kitchen for magnificent food, to Rollercoaster for superb music, to The Farnham Boutique for *the* perfect dress for Millie. To my non-colleagues, the aforementioned bridesmaids and groomsmen – Jess E, Jess TJ, Lily, Rach and Clod, Jason, Harry, Weames, Nick, Callum and Craig. High fives all. Seriously, thank you. It was emotional.
Millie and Chris. Where to start. Where to end. Quite literally made for each other. It’s hard to see where one begins and the other ends. They light up rooms, and have the most incredible group of friends. I get the feeling they’re never actually in, instead bouncing from house to pub to holiday with the gorgeous Rex alongside. The chants of ‘Millie is a fox’ will long echo in my mind – she is, quite literally, as she’s now Mrs Fox. It was a wedding that promised much and delivered so much more. One to recall as the years roll on. One I didn’t want to leave.
