Haslemere wedding photography in Surrey

Finally the summer has turned up for some Haslemere wedding photography in Surrey – Amy + Dom’s amazing day blessed with perfect weather, a rare wedding day where we weren’t worrying about rain. With a couple as bloody lovely as Amy + Dom, on a day as brilliant as this in the beautiful Haslemere countryside, that’s no less than was deserved. A day that began and ended at Amy’s parents stunning home, with a little detour to the local church in the middle. I should thank Nick and Jane for making me feel so welcome from the off, and that warmth has clearly been passed down to Amy, along with Molly, Phoebe and Will. Thanks to those last three for all of their help and humour and to Catherine for excellent bridesmaiding (not sure that’s actually a word but whatever) alongside Molly and Phoebe.

A wedding day that had family at the centre, with that being a huge factor for both Amy + Dom, and it really showed. I know that’ll also be passed down by them in the years to come. Today was all about them showing their love for one another in front of the people that matter the most. Once again I was simply there to photograph it and to give them lasting memories. This is a simple job at its core, and I always try to maintain those threads of emotion, timing and context. Days like this give me a lot to work with.
