To Essex. AND ALL THE RAIN. OH THE RAIN.
Hint. It didn’t matter. Not when you’ve got a couple like Sheri and Chris at a venue like Gaynes Park. Not when you’re working with excellent colleagues like Katy.
So we begin at Sheri’s prep, with ace bridesmaids Michelle and Mollie on hand. That part of the day was, ironically, dry. The rain started as I left and did not let up for one minute until well after dark. My wettest wedding in over 400 weddings? No doubt about it.
So how thankful was I that I had such a chilled couple? Very is the one word answer to that. From the moment I arrived I knew I was in for an absolute cracker, and then some.
Guests absolutely smashing it all day long. Galloping Gourmet with stellar food and drink.
And right at the centre of it two people showing their love and commitment to all present. Sheri and Chris.
Relaxed, laughing all day long, no edge, no drama. Just throwing a big party for the people they care about the most.
And really that’s all that matters at a wedding. Get the people you love together. Host extravagantly. Throw the doors open for them and watch the day unfold.
Sheri and Chris got the essence of what a wedding is and should be.
Thank you both, and this is your story.
