Gate Street Barn wedding photography – Clare + Alex
Gate Street Barn wedding photography
“It’s official. I’m f**ked!! After 2 days of wedding, family BBQ and the overwhelming job of doing the ‘Thank you’ spreadsheet my socialising battery is now empty.
Before I forget (and you forget who I am), I needed to send you the biggest thank you I could muster up! I was absolutely terrified on Friday, and you made it bearable with banter, laughter, and the odd ‘F’ bomb! In my head I’m a long haired ‘thin’ twenty something… then I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and realise those days are long gone. The thought of being a middle aged, menopausal bride was an ominous prospect. You however, made me feel like I was on fire and the only person that mattered. In those fleeting moments of confidence, brought on by you, it was wonderful.
I hit the photographer jackpot with you. I really do hope our paths cross again. I’ll make sure I recommend you to anyone getting married so that I might get that chance. Lots of love and warm cuddly things x”
Those words above. I am so so lucky to have this job, and this is why as you look at some Gate Street Barn wedding photography – Clare + Alex’s absolute banger of a wedding, bringing ridiculous amounts of laughter, emotion and all of the party to this awesome autumn wedding day. Clare and I clicked the first time we spoke, and each and every time after that. Today showed us that are really is a number (and I am no spring chicken myself these days), but that attitude is everything. The day they put together was everything. They are everything. Today equally so. An honour and a privilege. Always, thank you both so much!
