How about a big slice of Cain Manor, or more specifically Becky and Todd at Cain Manor. I vote yes. And a largely dry day in an increasingly inclement summer is always a bonus. Also, Star Wars….
It’s a lovely old house this. Warm tones everywhere and booked by people who want ambience, atmosphere and a lazy day hidden away in the Surrey hills. People like Becky and Todd then. When we met a few months ago I knew we’d have a good one. They just wanted a photographer who’d let them enjoy their day and spend time with their friends and I’m always happy when that’s the case. Cain lends itself to days like this, as guests are able to move from inside to out so easily, and to explore the history of the place.
A huge thank you to Becky’s bridesmaids for smiling from the moment they came through the door and not stopping all day long. To Todd’s groomsmen for all their help. To Jane and the staff at Cain Manor for running things so well and for the excellent food and drink. To the lovely Hazel at Eden Blooms for incredible flowers as always.
And of course the most thanks to Becky and Todd. Absolutely made for each other. Whilst shooting them together I watched the way they looked at one another. Becky melts. Todd beams. They connect so very obviously and in the very best of ways. It’s another example of what love can do when it places the right two people together.
Here in Surrey we all saw it, and then some.
Becky. Todd. Thank you, and this is your story….
