Oh my word. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present one hell of a day at Bloomsbury House with Katie and Taylor. Two very special Americans marrying in a city very special to them.
First a huge, huge thank you to the wonderful Louise Perry and her team. As well as running a seriously good wedding planning outfit, Louise is now also running weddings at Bloomsbury House and knocking it out of the park there. I was honoured to be able to shoot the first wedding since the relaunch of the house as a wedding venue earlier this year. We’ve worked together many times now and it’s always a blast. So thank you again.
Thank you to London for giving us everything on a plate once again. I love this city more and more each time I visit. Today was no different.
Thank you to Katie and Taylor’s guests. 18 of them, all flown in from the USA and every one an absolute pleasure to meet and spend the day with.
Thank you to the weather for giving us dry skies when the day either side didn’t play ball.
But my main thanks must, of course, go to the utterly superb Katie and Taylor. From the moment we talked on Skype a few weeks back and I saw their smiles I knew we’d have a ball. The reality was even better than I imagined. Utterly chilled out, loving London, loving each other, loving their friends and family. Wonderfully relaxed in front of the camera and to be around. Just an absolute joy from start to finish. I honestly could not have wished for a more perfect couple, nor could I have asked for more from them.
Trust. Love. Happiness. Laughter.
This had it all. The privilege of photographing their day together fell to me. It really doesn’t get much better than that.
Thank you both, thank you all.
Katie, Taylor. This is your day…..
