Show of hands for those ready for the second day of a two day smasher? Grace and Andrew, after the intimacy of day one, knock everything out of the park on a grand scale for this, day two. Settle in, it’s a biggie, and a day like this at a venue like Aynhoe Park is always going to have a lot of photos.
So after an overnight stay at the local Premier Inn, I was back with the brilliant Grace and Andrew for the main event, the one with all of the people present. Grace was with her girls upstairs, and a gorgeous Ian Stuart dress awaited alongside some stunning Louboutin shoes. Safe to say she killed it. Massive thanks to all of the bridesmaids for being excellent all day, and the same to Andrew’s groomsmen for being equally so.
With the ‘official’ wedding yesterday, today allowed for a wonderful humanist ceremony by Mark Townsend. Note perfect from start to finish with a little bit of illusion to end. Cofetti everywhere. Laughter and smiles more so. After the deluge of the previous day we finally had a short, dry window to get outside and made the most of it. The afternoon reception led to a wonderful meal with stunning food. Speeches that had me doubled-up and not a few tears. Cocktails flowing, the dancing started and no doubt carried on until the small hours. You can’t not at Aynhoe…..
Grace and Andrew are another couple who are just made for one another. You can see that from the photos below. They melt into each other and almost become one person. We had a blast, and this was truly a weekend to remember.
Day two then. It delivered everything it promised, and then some….
